This page gives you a chance to meet my hogs, all of which have different characters, as well as looking very distinctive! Click on the pictures to enlarge.
This is Ebony, the first of my girls.  Sadly Ebony passed away in November 2020 at the age of four.  She was a gentle little hedgehog, never happier than when she was snuggled down my pyjama top of an evening!
Here we have Savannah, one of the most relaxed African Pygmy Hedgehogs you could ever hope to meet!
Buttercup here became a much calmer hedgehog, with less huffing, after she had her first litter of beautiful babies. She proved herself an excellent mum with her second litter, sired by Quintus.
Theodore was my first boy.  He really was such a gentle wee soul.  We tried pairing him with some of the girls, but he seemed to lack the confidence to become a father...
Fontina was a superb mother to both of her litters.
This is Freya.  It took a lot of time and care to get her settled, but my patience paid off as she became much happier with being handled.   She gave birth to a beautiful litter after being paired with Quintus.
Anastasia was notoriously camera shy, which is a shame as she had such a striking face! She had two amazing litters after pairings with Quintus.
Hera came to us from the Czech Republic. She has settled in to life in Wales and is a right little show-off in front of the camera!
Quintus came to the UK with Hera. As you would expect from a hog as handsome as this one, he is an absolute stud-muffin, having sired five litters of hoglets so far. His pedigree is excellent and he carries the gene which, from time-to-time, results in the highly-prized split-face markings in hoglets.
Azeban was a delightful little boy, always interested in what is going on around him - His little pink nose never stopped twitching! He sired some excellent litters and his legacy carries on with us as we are running on his son, Gunnar.
This is the simply stunning Elenya, who has come to us from Katee Kubincová, a highly respected breeder in Slovakia.  We feel privileged that Katee trusts us with one of her her hoglets as we know that she is as particular with where they go as we are with ours.
Sabina is a home-grown Huffington Hog, being the daughter of Buttercup and Quintus. She is as calm a and friendly as you could ever wish for a hog to be.  The photos really don't do her justice, so we will upload some more when the opportunity presents itself.
Gunnar is our youngest hog, being from Elenya and Azeban's litter.  He's still developing, but we are sure he's going to be a little cracker!
